everyone, just got home from Tulsa. Boy, is it out there. I saw several temps at 107º or 42º that is just too hot. The air conditioners are having a hard time keeping things cool.

Linda, sorry to hear about your mother in-law, loosing a loved one is never easy.

We had lots of orchids when we lived in Sydney but had to leave them all behind when we moved to Tasmania.

Linda and Cyn, my deepest sympathy to both your families.Rest in peace two lovely ladies.

Well, what started out to be just another ordinary day turned into a visit to a beach about 120kms east of Albany. My daughter and two grandsons and myself went before lunch and it rained all the way there and all the way home, but was really warm and sunny for the few hours we spent at the beach. Amazing weather and a lovely day spent at another beautiful south coast beach.

It's 18kms in from Wellstead on a gravel road, but it's a good road and worth it once you get there.

Oh, my. It's 9:09 a.m. and I could go back to sleep! Maybe for once I'll actually try a cup of coffee with caffeine. I don't want to feel yucky the rest of the day. Maybe I'll just close my eyes for 45 minutes until the turnover. Am I too young for a midmorning nap?

Phantom, I'd love nothing more than to be romping with Fiona in San Diego, but we're at our mountain cabin, teeming with grandchildren, over 400 miles away! I'll just have to go visit with her on her home turf.
