Just call me One-eyed Jacks today. I have an eye patch on my right eye after slightly scratching the cornea. At least the good eye is working well enough to do the puzzles.

Yes Kathy, that one looks fairly easy except for number 9. I'll have to think about this some more as well.

CG the Pirate - Luckily eyes heal quickly, but its no fun. Cat scratched my eye once and by the time I could get to the doctor in the aftenoon he said, "It's healing nicely!"

Ouch, Greg! Hope it heals soon. Must be an unlucky time for eyes. I've just developed a "floater" in my right eye, which dances nicely across the computer screen. Annoying as heck.

Thanks for your concern ladies, but it's not a big deal. Doctor says it will be an unpleasant memory by Thursday. Just means I'll be watching the Canada versus United States World Junior hockey game for the gold medal with my EYE agog!

Morning all - just on my first cuppa (tea), think I have all but no 9 in Fiona's puzzle and that probably needs breakfast and a cup of coffee to work it out!

Okay. So far I have come up with four words with FOUR or more leeters. How many do you have, Fiona? What? None? Big surprise.

You're right Kathy, I haven't even tried. But Judy says she's got 7 and that's 3 more than you have, and that's a lot to beat!

Fiona - I got them all easily but no.9 and because I had to google it, I won't submit them.
I only have 4 of the 5 words for Kathy's puzzle. I do have a possible 5th but have to check

Funny how no9 is causing so many probs...obviously the aussies don't use that word either. Just who was on all these boats that left our shores?

I can do number 9 but then I am neither an American nor an Australian and I garden. I only crossed the English Channel on a ferry so maybe Fiona it was the long watery voyages left a little water on the brain.

Changed my youTube to a video where not only humans become inebriated but the animals in Africa celebrate once a year, too in the same manner. They gorge themselves on fermenting fruits thus entering into the sad state of unbalanced action and lost dignity.

Back again, breakfast over - and so it should be at almost 1100!

Have also got the oven nearly sparkling clean - a job I detest!
