Hugh: Ice hockey! They are part of the National Hockey League (which is actually international as all of the teams are based in either Canada or the United States). The Senators are the last Canadian based team still alive in the playoffs.

HUGH, children in Canada are born with skates on, clutching little hockey sticks. Makes it a little tough on the mothers ...

Judy: If Ottawa wins they'll play either the New York Rangers or Buffalo. Detroit, if they win, will play Anahiem, who just eliminated Vancouver.

That would be nice Judy, and Hugh, more then 50% of the players in the NHL are Canadians.

No team here in California (can't keep the ice frozen!), HUGH ... but I grew up in Detroit, Michigan, home of the mighty Red Wings, and they are still ''my'' team!

HUGH: In most areas of the U.S., field hockey is played by girls ... but the men's game is gaining interest in a few select pockets. Ice hockey players are VERY tough, like rugby players ... how about the field hockey gents?

Hugh - no hockey on grass here, all on ice, our high school has a girls hockey team, most of the kids start playing as soon as they can walk, but the US women aren't quite as tough as the Canadian women, no kids born in hockey skates as far as I know

JUDY, I think it is more than the money that is the attraction on the competition page. Heck, I have already decided winning Aussie Money is not gonna help me a lot, noone here accepts that as legal tender. but I am still on the competition page, just for the fun. I must see how close the posts must be when we get a winner. I am thinking somewhere around 40 or 20 minuets should do it!
