2:32 Hi to all.

Thought for the Day:

Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the thinks you can think up if only you try!

I'm covered in paint...half the outside of the house painted. I resemble a paint tin at this point, well a paint splash leastways, and I've discovered I don't mind heights up to a point.

Good afternoon to all! That's a super photo today. It is sad that the Monarch butterfly is dwindling year after year due to habitat destruction in Mexico and the United States.

André, you need to pull a Tom Sawyer and convince your friends and neighbors how much fun it is to paint!

A good news story....
A two-year-old boy lost in the Yukon bush overnight after wandering away from his family's campsite will get to keep the dog he followed.
The toddler, identified only as Kale, wandered away from a campsite north of Ross River, Yukon, on Thursday. The boy, from Kamloops, More...

In Hawaii, over on the North Shore of Oahu, at Waimea Falls Nature Park (sorry for ramble, was dredging up details from overloaded brain as I went along), there was a butterfly display with a glass case containg tree branches full of butterfly cocoons. As I stood watching several butterflies hatched - an experience high up on my list of best ever!

Broni - I'm going to try to take my laptop (which isn't always working) to Clara's because I hear it has wifi there. Perhaps we can post "live from the JaneJam" and allow people to add their own toasts - I like your 'tea and toast' from down under idea. The nice thing about Sudokufests is that we're all at each one in spirit.

If anyone else attending has a laptop, maybe it would be a good idea to bring it. I'll try to ask if there's a wall recepticle near where they'll be seating us, otherwise, it'll be battery power.

Another point Ian: Perhaps language will regress - stoneage-like - to piccies (smilies - and growlies too). The next stage might be regeneration - into symbols - even into some kind of Chinese kanji - new characters derived from the original piccies - then the symbols will be condensed into More...
