Indicate which comments you would like to be able to see
Judy and other Outlander Discussonists, I haven't read the book but might just be interested to check out your comments.

Rather than provoke Outlandish reaction, Why don't you use the parents page AND choose your comment types as recipes.

Then those who might be offended by More...

FI FROM NT: Where have you been all of my life?! Finally, the voice of reason and sanity! Next weekend, the first comment on the Parents' Page could state that the Outlander discussion will occur on Recipes ... and those that only want to see the parental ''ooh and aahs'' should untick Recipes! More...

Thank you, fi, the obvious choice was right in front of us.
 |  |
fi: much as I suggested above. It would work for any page provided posters choose the right comment type when submitting.
 |  |
You're right, CORKY. It just didn't register with us since the Parents' Page is so new, and we forget that it has the same choice boxes as other pages! Another brilliant, problem-solving mind at work ... thanks!

good thinking, fi - a combination of the 2 ideas! Judy, are you saying that the rest of us are illogical and insane? lol
DEE and JEAN, why does this idea that if you 'go against the chosen few' your name is mud persist? Firstly, Ian was criticised not because he disagreed with the opinions of More...

Now, SUSAN, only a very flexible and logical mind could come up with that convoluted assertion! But if the shoe fits .... LOL Thanks for bringing some humor into a difficult situation, One-Who-Posts-at-all-Hours!

Hey, it's 1.30 pm here on a Sunday afternoon. But the posting at all hours is because I'm one of those lucky people who can fall asleep at any time. I don't have to sleep at regular times to feel good. Since I work part time sometimes I can post during the day, but if I'm not working much, More...

and this ironing won't do itself, so I'd best be off.

to AP from India, what is the answer for those of us who are slow?
 |  |
I'm new to Sudoku. I've never played before. I see references such as 2:53. Is that 2 minutes, 53 seconds, or 2 hrs, 53 minutes?
 |  |
Jerry... minutes/seconds.

hey everyone, hope your having a good day!!!!

Wow, what a great group.

To Judy from San Diego. When are we going to discuss the book 'Outlander' or have we already? I read it and loved it. It is the only one I have read, but who can stop at just one. I can't.

Apologies if this has been posted before...
A woman was walking down the street when she was accosted by a
particularly dirty and shabby-looking homeless woman who asked her
for a couple of dollars for dinner.

The woman took out her bill fold, extracted ten dollars and asked, More...

Anne: Starting the day with 1000's of posts, and ending it with a blessing from cod. You'r on a roll.

JUDY, KEITH and any one else: My comments regarding taking over a page weren't a personal attack on anyone, and I directed them at you Judy because for the most part you seemed to be the only person talking about this upcoming event. I did get carried away asking for 25 names to be identified, so More...

'Oy, I sometimes stop by here to fill out the sudoku, and never give any attention to the chatter happening below. It's a whole new world this little forum thingie... Rock On!

Toast - welcome, best served with crunchy peanut butter and marmalade. Don't think postings have been called a 'little forum thingie' before...like it.
 |  |
Great web site. Hi to all the other West Aussies
 |  |
Billy, please don't tell me that you are suggesting peanut butter and marmalade at the same time - ugh!
 |  |
Paul /Binningup - excuse my ignorance, but where is that as i'm too lazy to google it?
 |  |
Mel - of course I'm suggesting that - try it!
 |  |
Hello Billy - in case Paul doesn't read your query, Binningup is down towards Margaret River way, or down that coast somewhere. It could even be before Bunbury as I seem to remember Binningup Beach when I lived in Collie.
 |  |
SUSAN FROM TEXAS: Next weekend! Watch for notices on the Parents' Page!
 |  |
Yep, Billy, just before Bunbury. Looked up my Explore Australia book
 |  |
And a big 'Hello' to you too, Paul
 |  |
Canuk Greg - do you think I can finish the same way I started today.
 |  |
Nope!
 |  |
Weelll, Heeellllooooo, Greg - are you receiving me?
 |  |
I think we crossed there somewhere
 |  |
You spoilsport Greg
