G'day mates,here's today's daffynition:

..And here's today's factoid:
First million selling album in US history: the soundtrack to Oklahoma, 1958.

The solution to yesterday’s puzzle is WHITE: while, whale, shale, shake, slake: FLAKE. A round of applause and an invitation to shovel my driveway anytime it snows goes to Keith, Canuk Greg and Sarah.

Those of you who have been to visit us here in Tennessee know I have a trumpet vine that is named 'Babie'. It is the name sake of my grand daughter's favorite doll. Why it is named 'Babie' is a cute story, but you will have to come see me to hear that story. I have had this plant for 7 years and More...

After seeing three of our Japanese Maples freeze out this past spring, I understand Gpa's tender (and creative) care of a favorite plant!

I am at a loss on what to do today. MIL kept my baby. There was a hint that she might do that, but in the past, Thing II, could not live without her sister, and has returned home. I called and she is too busy to talk to me, because she is with her Bammaw. Hopefully, by tomorrow, I will get over this, 'What to do,' feeling.

I really, should have asked, when MIL is going to return my little darling, but, of course, I didn't.

You know, I am not going to wait on him.

case repacked = 18.5 kilos. Cash in pocket in euros, then a few pounds sterling for UK, a few Sing dollars but will need more at airport and no Oz dollars so another visit to the magic machine in the wall on arrival. Excitement building. . . . .

It is good to post early. Congrats to Karen. Karen, are the girls on Fall Break? or, did Bammaw take Thing I to school? This week is Fall Break in our county.

GannieMo, are you excited about your trip? I really cannot tell. I do hope you enjoy yourself, and stay safe.

HI all! Well done Serena for filling in for the bat...you are allowed to keep on filling in for the bat until she comes back!

GmaJackie, we are not on Fall break. MIL, took Thing II, who is not in school. Thing II has never had one on one, Bammaw time, so even though I am missing my darling tremendously, they both need this time together.
Thing I and me, are also enjoying this time, it has been a very long time, since we have had some one on one time, too.

Uh, Fiona, did you just boot Mr Cee out of a job?

It's, as you know, the end of the world as we know it, but we're feeling fine, if not a little bored with our chosen partner...you are allowed a day off them today, only 24 hours mind, and in their place you are allowed to have some sort of animal to keep you company...just for a day, what are you going to choose and, remember, we want to know why!
09/Oct/12 1:46 AM
 |  |

Mr Cee is not nice to me, Karen, I read his comments about slackers and couches and bad pay...I can replace him anytime...well, until next weekend, anyway!

OH, this is an easy one today, I choose Shelby Lou. Would love to pick all my past 4 legged, furry friends. Shelby, is a great companion, she sleeps 23 hours a day, unless, grab your car keys, then she is ready to go. There is never a doubt on what this dog is thinking, so she is a great conversationalist.
