I knew I had seen that town before. Puyallup, Don't ask me to pronounce it, but we have some new neighbors here in Silver City that are moving from there. Considering your weather this year, maybe you should consider following them.

Sorry Kathy with K. We live in Jefferson, GA about 50 miles north of Atlanta. We love it. Violet is getting big and I've sent tons of pictures, but I haven't seen any. I check the pictures even when I don't have time to play the game just to see.

I am originally from Charlotte and loved it there as well.

The 'duck' is an EGRET and they follow grazing animals to catch the insects disturbed in the grass. I wonder if these are the same hippos we took photos of last year when we visited the area?

This puzzle was not so difficult! I was able to do it without using any possibilities!

mAen all - I think the bird is an egret - we have them here - they love to hang around cows and tractors. in the 70's today and foggy.

Had to drive home from Bellingham to OR after/during the white-out snowstorm after Thanksgiving. Long drive! But I-5 north of Seattle was gorgeous. Wouldn't trade the sight of those uniquely NWUS trees doused in snow for anything.
And why do hippos keep popping up in my life? A hint?
Evening here so I know most of you are asleep and I'm talking to myself.

Anyone ever read the stories of George and Martha? George and Martha are hippos. There are also animated versions on film. I love them... great relationship lessons. I think of them everytime I see hippos.
