Quite different from my neck of the woods.

When Iwasrafting down the Colorado River last summer the warwe looked like chocolate milk. I'm surprised to see the warwe so green!

Even though this is the Colorado, I imagine the Green River looks the same from a distance - thus, its name. After naming the Green, what could they do but just call the Colorado 'colored'.

Wow! Thanks for the incredible view, Martha. I could not get close enough to the edge to get that shot. Pretty amazing scenery. For those of us who may never get there, we're thankful for the modern technology that allows us to experience it vicariously.
