Hey Steph! We're not storming yet...just feeling like it's going to hit, watching the radar. How far east are you? I grew up in the KC area, went to KU, now I'm stuck in the hot dry windy Wichita area. Is school out there? I quit teaching 3 years ago, but I still measure time in semesters instead of seasons!

Cinji, Steph. I, too, went to KU, and miss the hills, flowers, trees. I lived on Lilac Lane, which lived up to its name every spring. I don't teach, but being a mom with kids 10 years apart, I have been living by the school calendar since 1962. My youngest has 2 more years of high school, then? My oldest receives his Masters from DU June 9th. He almost went to KU for his MSW.

To Cinji & Sarahoz, I wasn't a Jayhawk..although one of my sons was..and just moved to this great town a year ago. After I retired from teaching, I looked for a fun place to live around this area and this is where I landed. For many years, I just loved teaching, but things changed so much that the fun was gone and I haven't missed it at all.
