These cactus are saguaro cactus. They grow for about 80 years before they get their first arm. They look like people with their arms up in the air. My neighbors have two in their front yard and they put Santa hats on the top - very funny! Many people put christmas lights on them, just like you would on a tree.

I have been to the Dessert Museum in Tucson.
I highly reccommend it! Go in the morning, it gets crowded in the afternoon
