Good afternoon to all! It was a baeutiful fall day here and I spent a lot of the day outside. No flowers like this to see though, as frost has killed most of them. Winter is coming!

Nice reminder that spring will make a return...just not soon enough. I'd like to skip winter all together.

Oh, and I like the picture....

both flowers are orchids. the white and yellow is a cattleya which often have a perfume. Cattleya come in a huge range of colours. the orange orchid might be a dendrobium - not sure.

No frost here yet, Canuk Greg, but they're predicting snow for Friday! Makes me wish we had finished winterizing the boat today, instead of waiting for next weekend. It's tough to do some of the work in the cold! Nice to see some lovely flowers.

I took this photo in the orchid house at Selby Botanical Gardens. Tons of different orchids in there...I made a marvelous photo calendar from all the flora at Selby.
