A man was driving down the road when he saw a three legged chicken running in front of him. He went faster to try to catch the chicken. Each time he went faster the three legged chicken went faster still. Suddenly the chicken turned off the road and went into a farmyard. So the man followed it.

He saw a farmer by the gate so he stopped and and saw on the farm a field full of three legged chickens.
'I breed them,' said the farmer.
'I wanted to increase the profit on each one by producing the extra leg.'
'What a great idea', said the man, 'what do they taste like?
'I don't know,' said the famer, 'I've never caught one.'

Don't know my time, as I was sudokuing between batches of cookies baking. I do recognize the picture as being of the Golden Gate Bridge taken, as Jan says, from the north - just after crossing the bridge as you leave the city. Jan, I agree, San Francisco is, indeed, a wonderful city.

At about 12:30 pm on Sunday, a large black cloud arrived over Plumstead next to Woolwich. Since then we have had Black Clouds continuously till now. You can just smell the burnt petroleum, but every thing seems to be as normal. The clouds are at about 2000-3000ft (750-1000m).

Je ne pense pas que la vraie bière anglaise est bière blonde. C'est bière anglaise faite par de petites compagnies de brassage. Ils pensent que 'larger' n'est pas la vraie bière.

ici on brasse aussi de la bière. on la fait avec du houblon(hop) et du malt bien sûr!Moi j'aime bien la bière allemande blonde et pas trop forte ou la Heineke. Au mois de mars on fait de la bière brune.
