Seems to be landscapes today, a welcome change!
 |  |

5:32 Lovely photograph and yes Anne must be Ians (well hopefully)
 |  |
good Maen all - would love to see with my own eyes.
 |  |
5:19 Beautiful countryside. Nice to fly over in a plane, I'll bet.
 |  |
Yes, JYRKI, it reminds me of, ''All Creatures Great and Small,'' too! Many generations ago, some of my ''people'' actually came from Yorkshire.
 |  |
4:32 My best time ever on medium!
 |  |

Anne and André you were correct, it is one of mine. It is lovely rolling countryside, as you can see. I am hoppy to see two landscapes in today, it is a break from photos of 'things'.
 |  |

Oops, my kangaroo must have got loose, that should be 'happy'.
 |  |

Good afternoon to all! Another nice photo Ian! And Cathy, why fly over it if you can drive and get out and walk to see it up close?

Another beautiful view.

3.42. Beautiful pic.
 |  |
Soooooooo green,a bit more rain and we might see some here.
Two caterpillars were chomping on grass in a garden when a large butterfly went by overhead.
One grub looked at the other and said,'You'd never get me up in one of those'!

4:04. mAen.

Yes, Jyrki and Judy, it's nice to see the countryside where the good doctor tended to his patients. I love all of Herriott's books. The TV series was good, too, but as with most adaptations, not nearly as good as the books.
 |  |
Hi Canuk, I'm all for taking the shoes off and feeling that Yorkshire greenery between my toes as well.
 |  |

Thanks again Greg.

Lovely photo Ian. Where in Yorkshire?
 |  |

everyone.
What a beautiful countryside. Thanks, Ian, for sharing your photos of places some of us will never see.
 |  |
Yorkshire my home county and the bigges county in england
 |  |
To any one coming to Yorkshire i would love to give you a guided tour some of the views would just take your breath away
 |  |
To jane in beverly uk i would say its in the dales or may be Ilkley moor as in the song
 |  |

Hello Jake - the song On Ilkley Moor reminds me of my late father. He used to get up at social functions and sing that song. He had a lovely voice.
 |  |
Great photo Ian! I thought it was going to be Yorkshire (or at least northern England - but I like Yorkshire best of the north) as it came up. Well the dry stone wall helped that impression! I loved travelling around the Yorkshire Dales and North Yorkshire!

maEn all
 |  |

Ian - did you say you have a kangaroo loose? Not in the top paddock, I hope!! Great photos today of some beautiful parts of the world.
 |  |
forgot the timer...seemed slow though
 |  |

Judy, earlier I said I was 'hoppy' to see two landscapes, I meant 'happy' hence the reference to kangaroos.

The photo was taken from the side of the road somewhere during a tour from Ilkley to Grassington and back - can't remember exactly where but it looked pretty at the time.

 |  |
A bit of information for all Yorkshire is split up into rideings Ilkley is in the west rideing Grassington on the boarder of the west and north rideing
 |  |
not the scene i see from my windows.......but not very far away
