Slow time--that extra hour of sleep appears to have done me no good. But a fabulous photo, and hats off to the photographer, whoever he/she is.

Greg: I'm posting these pictures from my trip last month.

HalT: The only way to get to this place is to hike for 2 and a half hours out to the end of the cape. The hike is just okay, but the view at the end is magnificent. Very windy and very scary high cliffs, with the noise of the More...

Martha: Go figure. Your trip to Canada shows people how beautiful our country really is! Thank you for sharing your pictures!

Martha and Greg: We went to NS, PEI and NB. Some really great sites and scenery. One of my favorites was Peggy's Cove. And one of the worst hurricanes (Juan, I think) to ever hit Canada, came the second night we were in Halifax. We left the next morning, just before the authorities closed the town.

HalT: We arrived in Halifax the night before the Rolling Stones concert - is that the same as a hurricane hitting town? :) I have heard the rocks at Peggy's Cove are beautiful, but we skipped it because I arrived late (airline troubles). We saw a lot of the Atlantic coast, though, and many of the towns further south are picturesque and uncrowded.

My only memory of 'Nova Scotia' is the song by Jonathan Edwards, from his live album, 'Lucky Day' (1974). I remember my friends singing the song, and how beautifully Becky (Boyer) Hall sang the high part. She is now a violinist with the Saint Louis Symphony, what amazing musical talent she has :)
