done them all, not so gr8 times, but got 2 play sudoku so i am happy

I forgot to restart the timer though so no time. Too long anyway...

Sore eyes now, must have forgotten to blink.

Much better today at Sudoku than yesterday (I was unable to crack yesterday's tough). Today I used an xwing involving 6's (a1/a9/c1/c9) and then it was easy to end.

Can't crack the tough ones. Can someone please tell me what xwing is

Paddy was in New York. He was patiently waiting, and watching the traffic cop on a busy street crossing. The cop stopped the flow of traffic and shouted, 'Okay pedestrians'. Then he'd allow the traffic to pass. He'd done this several times, and Paddy still stood on the sidewalk.

sweta/India - try only entering #s if they can ONLY be placed in 2 cells. Start with 1s -- 9s and then start over again with the 1s. It takes longer, but it is easier! Good Maen.

ooooooooops.thats something you call tough.for me i suppose.a good 25 mts.plus.sort of humbled shud say.high time i learn all the fancy techniqs.wings chains et al.have been keeping away from them as i found it worse than my maxwells eq.tions.

I start with the most numbers on the board and work down - this works for me in half the cases.
I started with the 8s, then the 7s, then the 4s, then what ever pops out for the next fill, then on a box, and/or col. and/or row with the most filled using the possibility box - where there is only one number - fill with that - after that -guss

No guessing for me today. It was pretty straight forward -- more like a 'hard' than 'tough'

That one stumped me. Over 30:00, and still had to guess. Sudoku is enjoyable frustration??

I have very little time just now - but it seems to me that at 29 filled some sort of advanced technique like an FC is required.

Steve - same here; dinner (the need to make) is interfering! so far: looking at 8's in row 4, e8 is not 8. Now at 31 and hungry mouths at the table. Back soon....

whatever you choose in c2 (1 or 2) leads to c8=5
51 filled
whatever you choose in a8 ( 1 or 7) leads to f8=4
60 filled
whatever you choose in e2 (1 or 2) leads to e8=7, to the end

I have no time, but did find at 29 filled remote pairs 16.... and they do seem to get me to 47, will have to visit this one later.
