This feeder is in much better shape than the wooden one I built 12 years ago. It has been losing pieces for the last couple of winters, and is becoming useless. It does keep most of the snow away from the seeds, oats, crunched nuts ...

Hi Steve.Neat solution.de5<>5 because locked 5s at bc5;ef6<>3 because locked 3s at ac6.Maybe no need to mention that in step 3)? Regards Alfred.

Hi Alfred,
Since the locked candidates are used in the chain, they are mentioned..... although a bit candestinely. I used, within the chain: (3)"f4 = (3-5)e4 = d4"(5), which are different LC then you mentioned, but they achieve the same result.
