This building is a lot bigger than it looks in this photo! Have you seen pictures of Andre Agassi & Roger Federer playing tennis on a court on the 'little' white disc at the top right of this photo?!!!
 |  |
Is that building which have a tennis court on its top?
Oh Kathy just says that .We had seen the picture of this court before .

Good maEn to all.

bizarre puzzle. no reductions, nothing hidden that I could see. couple of locked cans, 2 finned x-wings, a quick chain, an Empty Rectangle then the puzzle just fell apart. Building? Looks like a really big sailboat.

12:34 I didn't know about the tennis court. The interesting things that crop up on this site! Have a great day/night, everyone, and if you're traveling in 'storm country', stay safe.

13:29; The reflection makes it look like it is right at the waterfront, is it? Also, there seems to be nothing around it, must be lonely at the top!

A proof for tough sudoku of 03 02 2007:

1) Start at 23 filled - the given puzzle. Unique Possibilities to 25 filled. (UP 25).
2a)Y wing style: c9=2 == b8=2 -- b8=1 == b1=1 -- e1=1 == e1=2 forbids e9=2
2b) b8=1 == b1=1 -- e1=1 == e1=2 -- g1=2 == g1=5 -- g9=5 == d9=5 -- d9=2 == c9=2 forbids b8=2 UP 81
Sets: 3+5=8
Max depth 5 at step 2b
Rating: .38

maeN! 25 minutes using the full possibility grid, so I'm not happy with that. A couple of UPs, work on locked 6s. A longish chain implying
that a7 can't be 1 (a7=1 => b1=1 => e1=2 => g1= .. => def7=349 => e9 can't be anything) then unravelled the whole puzzle. No way I could have More...

Not to mention that watching Zwinky 'undress' every couple of seconds was a bit distracting.
Time to hit the sack! Nighty night!

Plugged away for about 40 mins with not much solved then it all fell into place

A alternate proof for tough sudoku of 03 02 2007:

1) Start at 23 filled - the given puzzle. Unique Possibilities to 25 filled. (UP 25)
2) c9=2 *==*{e9=2 *==* d9=2 -- d9=5 == g9=5 -- g1=5 == g1=2} -- e1=2 == e1=1 -- b1=1 == b8=1 forbids b8=2 at depth 5 UP 81

Sets: 5 More...

Great picture! Good maeN.

Sorry everyone, it's another misnamed photo. Mindslip. It's actually the Burj al-Arab. The Burj Dubai, which is going to be the world's tallest, isn't yet complete. This thing is a luxury hotel.
