I'd say Ian & Sue's Clematis flowers are running "neck & neck" in beauty!

13:52 Maen! Another gorgeous flower photo -- Ian and Sue sure know their subject well... :)

Maen. Beautiful flower. If I were a man, I couldn't even grow a beard. But my friend thinks that I'll be able to tend a bonsai. Go figure. I made some logic errors today. But there is always tomorrow.

Great photo Sue. I think your choice of subject is just brilliant (even if I say so myself)

Jan, I am living proof that you can "over-love"
a bonsai! (that sounds so much better than "kill")
Little suckers take a lot of care!
Try cactus.

I'm REALLY good at killing cactus. I don't have a clue how I do it, either.

Heidi, I killed two cactus! (I didn't water them enough!) We had acquired them from friends who were moving. We had even named them after the former owners! They died anyway! (Each one resembled parts of human anatomy. The one with one spire was "Louie" and the other with two bumps together was "Faye".)

13.12 Ok, I get the hint, I shall plant clematis in my garden this year!
Generally these days, I am not too bad at gardening, but in 'the old days', I could kill anything with love, especially those plants that were meant to be fool-proof!

You just made my day....lol...lol. I use to have plants on my balcony... until I moved in here... Now, I stick to pictures....and botanical garden Much safer for the plants... most enjoyable for me. Thanks all

Basic techniques bring us to UP28.

1) 6 locked into bc8 resolves i8=4.
2) 1 is locked into hi2 by the pair 14 in ef1.
3) If h2=1, then i6=1 (box), d9=1 (column), b8=1 (box), c8=6, b3=6 (box), a3=3 (row) which is a contradiction, since now there is now legal cell for a 3 in the top More...

Hi Jyrki,

A shorter path:
1) Start at 22, basic techniques to UP=28
2) fc:(5)ghi2=(5-7)i1=(7)b1-(7)a2=(7-9)a4=(9)a3-(9=6)i3
==>ghi2<>6, UP=81
Regards, Sotir
