21:32 , folks. Yes, that picture of the Nile is quite lovely. Such an inviting scene.

Lovely languid lake lolls along. (That lacks levity.)

Wagdy let us know when you have seen Kathy & Bruce. They should love their trip down/up the Nile.

ttt...Somewhat different from your solution, though I spotted one of the X-Wings.

Start 23
UP 27
1. Locked 4's (b46) forbids b79=4
2. Locked 2's (c78) forbids b7=2
3. QUAD 1578 (d1235) forbids d4=58, d7=578, thus e4=5
f7=5, d3=5, d5=1, h6=1, g9=1, f9=7, d7=6, d4=4, More...

Wonder if Kathy and her hubby will be in that exact spot any time during their cruise up the Nile...

Hi Joanne,

1- Your step 7 : maybe typo - NP 28 (ei6) not (e16)
2- Your step 8 : I can not follow this step...

 |  |
You're right, ttt...Typo on Step 7. Shoud be ei6 not e16

Regarding the Unique Rectangle -- probably a mistake because I left a number out of my notes (due to my eagerness to get finished). I think what happened was e1=289 at that point. Does that make sense? Thanks for calling this to More...

ttt...I posted a reply under "General" Comments instead of "Technique/Questions." Please check there; I value your opinion.

Hi Joanne,

I'm not sure that UR can use even e1 still 289. that look like :

ab ab then put more b ab ab
ac ab ac(b) ab

=> elimination "a" at ac(b).
And you see : still 8's at dgh1.

Oops, maybe more easier to see :

ab ab
ac ab
then put more b :
ac ab
ac(b) ab

Wow so tough. Got it out with guess. Hate doing that. Can't understand the instructions TTT gave. Think I'll stick to Hard.

Sorry ttt and Joanne, you seem to be speaking a different language to me!

ttt, If e1=289 at that step of the puzzle, then I don't see why it wouldn't work to use 9 to avoid the deadly pattern. Maybe you're saying, however, that I had already eliminated the 8 in an earlier step. That's entirely possible as I'm not precise enough to solve these things. I appreciate your help. Looking forward to your next proof.
