A proof for tough sudoku of 03 03 2007:

1) Start at 23 filled - the given puzzle. Unique Possibilities to 26 filled. (UP 26).
2a) fc on 9's: g7 == f7 -- f3 == b3 -- b4 == h4 forbids h8g5=9
2b) g8=5 == g1=5 -- h3=5 == c3=5 -- c3=9 == f3=9 -- f7=9 == g7=9 forbids g8=9 UP 36

Is this tree is only in Australia and not in other areas?

What is the Sheoak tree ?

I'm with you, Wagdy--I've never heard of a sheoak tree either. Does it have a male counterpart, the heoak? Seems only fair. Have a wonderful weekend, everyone. (And you know I'll be skiing again.)

I can answer for Anne cos she took us to the natural bridge when we visited her last year

I think the sheoak is also called a 'casuarina', and they come in many different forms.

ANNE: It's certainly your day for photo's this one could almost be from around here though I can't remember seeing any sheoaks.

Good afternoon to all! So do sheoaks and heoaks get together and party every night, or do they feel embarrased, shy, and just end up staring at each other with 'wooden expressions'?

J FROM TX - yes, the natural bridge, as GrannieMo said, is right next to the gap and I've been there many times over the years. I think I've submitted a photo of it on here as well. These photos were taken when I took GrannieMo & Steve for a sightseeing drive around Albany. Not that they needed More...

I guess I'll Google that sheoak. ...not familiar with that one!

Completed in 27 mts with very little of filling in the possibilities! Must be a simple one!
