gb, I just found your new explanation on the notation on your website. That helps very much to understand the explanation you spelled out for me for the 10/2 tough puzzle. Sorry I didn't get back to you to thank you before now, but I was out of town. This is making much more sense!

The tough are getting tougher. Wonderful! The 'check moves', 'possibilities', etc options make it too easy to guess. But without them, I'd probably never get back to work.

the tough don't get tougher ! This one already appeared (with only slight differences, see http://brunogreco.free.fr/bazar/sudoku/ for details) on 09/24 and 09/25. The fact is that among the 5 types that this site offers, today's type and 10/03's aren't the easiest. wait some days and the 19->51 type will surely reappear, an easier one.
