Seattle is truly a beautiful city in the summer. So green, and with lots of water and islands and mountains.

I didn't do the puzzle today as I'm puzzled out. Checked out the picture though, and there is nothing better then a true Farmer's Market. Everything freash, homemade pies and bread, jams and preserves! Who couldn't love it??

Neat!!! I was just there on Monday. Had to kill some time while I waited for some paperwork to be completed. Great day for a stroll around the market and nearby park.

Pike's Market is for everything, not just farm products. It is most famous for its fish stalls, in fact. But there is anything and everything for sale - art and handicrafts; clothing; bread, meat, well, really all types of food; and plenty of tourist souvenirs.

Oops - where I am from got cut off. The other Washington is Washington DC, the last colony, where taxation without representation persists.
