It's gonna be a cold one tonight

Liz... it's because someone ELSE (not one of US) set up SA9 a while ago, trying to lure us there. Since the name is taken, we either had to go to 9A or skip to 10.

Back again. I've hopefully changed to my one and only xmas avatar - I seem to have deleted all of the other ones.

The car is serviced. I actually bought a couple of stocking stuffers so have officially started shopping. Now I think I'm going to have a Nana nap.

FINALLY got the second beef done. We got a butcher's assistant to come to the farm after dark, and he worked scary fast. He did in 10 minutes what it took 3 people 2 hours to do yesterday. I'm cooking up some trimmings for the collies tonight.

I had a mad thought today - luckily it was only there for a few seconds - I thought it might be a good idea to get a smaller tree. What was I thinking??!!

Home made chrissie cake, hmmm, NOT good for my waist line as I'm the only one in the house that would eat it. Sometimes it's a good thing to not live near you...

Movie was OK - bit of a strange idea. Two women near us got up and left after 15 minutes. Hmmm!

I just got another message from Rolanda a few minutes ago, a bit later than she'd predicted. Her mother is on the ward, surgery went well, lymph nodes not taken, very drowsy, more later.
So pleased with this news so far.
