Gail, I had the same problem tonight with the internet. I find it very slow from about 5pm.
Hope you find it much cooler when you are on the computer from now on.

I went to the Croc's warehouse sale yesterday. I thought is was just this weekend but it is every weekend in November. They will be moving around. I had another bad night, and didn't get to sleep until around 5 am. This despite taking something to put me to sleep. I had pain and cramps shooting up and down my left arm.
IH went to his apartment last night instead of coming home, and didn't tell me. What a surprise.

We load out the calves in less than 2 hours. We're keeping back one that a friend asked to buy, and putting him in with the steer we're finishing for our freezer.

Thirty two calves were shipped out. We kept 2 here. One is a young purebred bull that I hope to sell in March. The other is a big heifer that a friend of IH wants to buy for beef.

Heidi, take care of yourself.
We went to a park today and took a 1 mile nature hike. It was a beautiful day, but didn't see many animals. Spiders and butterflies were all we saw.

Oh, yeah.... 6 of the heifers will be coming back here in the beginning of January. They're heifers that I'm keeping as breeders. We're paying someone to feed the calves up to slaughter weight. He'll also put some size on my replacement heifers. He only lives about 6 miles away so I can keep an eye on them.
