More sudoku solving techniques

On 8/24/06 the site showed four sudoku solving solving techniques: #1:Sole Candidate; #2: Unque Candidate; #3: Col/Row/Block Interactions; #4: Naked Subset (i.e., twins, triplets, etc.)

Below these, the words "More sudoku solving techniques to follow!"--But nothing followed.  What other techniques are there?

Tom, it seems Gath has abandoned publishing more techniques. Some can be found in my sudoku blog. A link into that blog can be found in the right column, under "check out the sudoku blog". Once in the blog, easier techniques are explained in the first few blog pages. More difficult techniques are explored later.

Hi Tom,

For the moment I am a bit busy to publish more sudoku techniques. Steve's blog (which is part of this site) is a great resource for more techniques - especially the more advanced ones - and I highly recommend checking it out.

Perhaps "abandoned" was a bit of hyperbole! I, too, have been guilty of similar "delay".
