MARY, Thursdays storm was just a thunder storm, nothing severe at my house. we were lucky in our area. We had a rain about an hour before the line of storms came through. Broni, I watch enough weather forcasters. Once there is a warning issued in our "viewing area" for local TV, they do a continious weather report, till no more warnings are in effect. Sometimes that can be 8 or 10 hours. You get accustomed to the lingo.

Hello everyone. Haven't had much to say lately. Haven't had much time either. Amber had her first ball game Monday. They lost 22 to 14.

Went in to see the travel agent yesterday. Still no prices on tickets yet. Asked about flights from Spokane. It is closer than Vancouver. I might hear from her one day.

Yesterday was kind of a wasted trip to town. I did manage to pay the important bill, payroll deductions. I forgot the rolled coins to deposit and left the shopping list at home. Left home too late anyway. Had to be back in time to get Amber to Guides, which we were late for anyway.

At least the weekend is here. Not that I get to stay home or anything like that. Baseball practice tomorrow, and I told Amber if it was nice I would take her to the beach. The water is still quite cold but you know how kids are. Sunday, of course, is Mother's Day, which I will be spending with my mom. We are going out to lunch and then some shopping.

mAen everyone! Mum has gone to have coffee with friends so here I am again. The visit is going well. She is happy that I put so much effort into giving her a nice place to sleep etc for this visit. Even brought out the special tablecloth!

What are everyone's plans for tommorrow? Mum is having lunch with a friend whose kids are a long way away, then we'll all have a baked dinner. We are going to have lunch at a coffee shop inside a nursery - it's becoming something of a tradition!

Our plans for tomorrow have changed a little. D#3 is away at a weekend camp and I car-pooled with her friend's father. I took them yesterday and he was going to pick them up tomorrow...Well, the best laid plans as they say! He has had to go pick his daughter up today so it is up to us to go get our More...

In the evening, my son and his girlfriend will be coming over for dinner so that will be nice, all the kids in the same room!
