Thanks for the TOPP Vici, I still have to finish my shopping. I just spoke to my mom and told her she needs to visit here more often. I also told her we were going shopping on Monday and volunteered my dad to watch the beastie boys. Or will the beastie boys watch my dad???

That menorah does look great there. Most people fail to remember when celebrating the birth of Jesus, that he was Jewish. So those celebrating the religious side of Christmas should be displaying Menorahs, too.

Me, I know that Christmas was originally a HUGE heathen holiday, one final major bash and revelry before the dark of winter. The christians confiscated it, and decided to make it a christian holiday by claiming that this was when Jesus was born. He actually was born in the Spring.

Hello everyone. I am finally home in my own little house. Got home late afternoon yesterday. I am so cold. What a shock. Landed at Vancouver in the snow. It rarely snows there. White as far as you could see. The girl sitting next to me didn't realize we had landed. Is it warm in Oz? I want to go back.

Home Rena, so glad you enjoyed your trip.Now it will be a buzy time getting ready for Christmas.
I shuld not be here either Nola but some kids decided to let off fireworks in the nearby park at 3 AM.
Anyway I have now done the puzzles which I would not have been able to do later with 'early Christmas' and 'birthday' celebrations all day.

the lawns are all mowed with the help of a neighbor and look lovely.I must get out and water even though it looks like rain,you can never trust it lately. I have a truck load of tree prunings for the tip..and I do mean a truck load.Not allowed to burn anymore but the cane farmers can.I better get moving,working this afternoon.Bye all.

Gee it is very quiet here today.I have done some watering.Wonder why the lychee tree didnt fruit this year.Usually we are fighting the parrots off just to get a few.Hope we get some next year.

Heidi, Mamma Mia is a cute movie. I saw it the night it came out with my mother-in-law. hubby, his dad and the boys went to a baseball game, so she and I went to dinner and a movie. I think you will enjoy it.
