How exciting Gail!

I did a gail today. I have been to every furniture store in town, some of them twice, and a new lounge suite will be delivered Thursday. It's not the $7000 one we wanted, but it also isn't the $999 one we would have had to replace again in no time...

Ahhh, suzy, so happy about the new furniture. that is alwasy a big deal, I usually have second thoughts, cause I know no matter what, I shall have to live with it for a long while. Tell us about it!

It's blue suede - kinda sorta. It's all puffy and comfy, not sleek and classy, it has 4 recliners - 2 built into the 3 seater lounge/couch, and 2 separate ones. It was a floor model, $500 off the original price, then he knocked off an extra $100 and threw in teflon treatment (scotch guard), More...

Gail, I figure if I could survive today, I can survive the long run! AND Yes, I have been to sleep already, slept 1 hour, + 2 hours, + 2 hours. I can function long term on 5 a day! and gee, have hours still stretching ahead for another sleep even.

My gail was fun - a magpie sat on the extra chair at our table. It wanted to share in the feast I guess. I took a photo, hope it worked out!

Gail, headlights comment was about no one was showing in my friends box! It did look kind of strange.

Oh Suzy, sounds like that suite was made for some serious TV watching, or viewing of movies! and you can morph right on into your old age, with the recliners!!

Al and I had lunch out, what I call a car picnic. too sunny and bright to want to sit inside ( if seating was offered, even) but too windy and brisk to want to sit in the outdoors. So we happily sit in th e front seat of th auto with a fantastic view of the train tracks, complete with a fast moving freight train to watch hehehe.

I am with your hubby, I would have chozen the blue lso. OH, what other colors were available??

We have 2 recliners and a puffy sofa. sofa is grey, in a bruched fabric they call goatskin, a synthitic that wears like iron. recliners are blue. Guess who's turn it ws to choose color when we got the dofa?

You and Al sound like hubby and me! We are happy to go for a nice drive, then sit in the car and admire the scenery! When we lived in Adelaide, a favourite pastime was to drive to one of the roads surrounding the airport and just watch the planes take-off and land! Fascinating hey! When we were back over there in July, we did it for old times sake (watch the planes that is!)

Gail, ulcers are so hard to heal, I am sorry to hear that! what part of her leg? Were they caused by pressure of bed on fragile skin?

I would have chosen a burgundy type colour MizT. But I like blue too so it wasn't hard to compromise.

Ouch Gail. Does she have one of those creams with pain relivers in them too? There's nothing worse than chronic pain! Well, nothing that I have experienced to date anyway.

I don't know how to describe the colour MizT. I'll see if I can get a good photo of it when it is delivered...

Gail, we are people watchers and what better place to watch without being watched hehe. there was a couple waiting on food, this was a take away BBQ place, and they were mighty touchy feely. ahh, young love, or raging hormones, not sure which.
