They are on her shins MizT. Being older, her skin is paper thin unfortunately. How she got them in the first place is a bit of a tale and a little yucky so I wont go into the details, suffice it to say the ulcerations themselves were caused by the removal of the dressings the doctor first put on Mum's legs and it tore the skin slightly.

Well, Gail, I certainly hope you did it also! and watching the planes is something I did with my Dad and siblings many years ago. He would time it so we saw them in the afternoon so sun was not in our eyes, then stay into dusk and see the lights come on, it was fantastic'1

I love people watching too, but my last 2 attempts were ... a deterrent? First the siblings fighting, then the young hoodlum who seemed so nice!

Ebob just told me about a game she played at lunch - piggy back wrestling, girls vs the guys. She piggy backed a girl friend, and there were two guys. The ones being piggy backed 'wrestled' each other. The girls won... hmmm.

Ahhh, Gail, any tear of the skin is enough to get one started. What have they tried for healing? There was some innovative treatments being tried a few years ago, wonder if any proved successful?

I think she had an allergic reaction to the tape that was first used, so not really anyone's fault. One of my sisters also has the same reaction, an itchy, red welt. While my sister was over there, she changed what was used for the dressings and there seemed to be an improvement. Now, the district More...

HelloAll....Its almost 2 in the morning and I can't sleep for coughing and wheezing....This congestion is difficult...but I don't feel sick...must give the doctor a call in the morning to see what she says....not too much I can do that I'm not already doing...
