the lights have all been flashing here today...VERY patchy internet connection at best. It is driving me troppo!! I do so hope that if it is a new line we need that it isn't the part that we are responsible and have to pay for...sounds very expensive to me!!!

Oh, and Suzy, those who betray your trust are the ones who have a problem, not you. In the end, they wear the consequences. You will probably never trust that girl again. I'd hate to be in the position that people didn't trust me.

Viv - hubby takes thyroid meds and it has made a huge difference for him. Hope they get you sorted out soon.
Suzy - I would have never picked up on the coke thing and I was one of the sneakiest teenagers you ever met...so you'd think I'd be hip to that sort of thing. This was totally not about you or any shortcoming on your part.

Morning all!

You are all so nice calling it 'trusting' rather than naive. I have known this girl since she was 6 years old, but I also knew she was hanging around with troubled teens. She won't get away with it - her twin was at the dance, and she will possibly be suspended from school.

Bean, I know what you mean about the internet connection. Ours is okay at the moment (touch wood) but I had a few days where it was slower than dial up! The good news is that every now and then it will fly for a while and boy do I have fun when it does that!

SUZY, you perhaps treat the bush orchid too well, getting gren and lush foilage but no blooms. Be MEAN to it, stress the plant, make plant think it will die from not eohough water and it will bloom. It's only purpose in life is to reproduce itself and if it thinks things are ifffy about surviving itself, it might bloom.

I was going to post some wedding pictures, but since it was so hard to do the SF ones, I thought I'd wait a bit...then decided to stop putting up with this @$%%% crazy computer that keeps acting up...so I just ordered a new one...it should be here next week....I can hardly wait.

Suzy....I'm glad that the young lady's mother will most likely find out about the alcohol...hopefully it will spur the parents to find out WHO she's going off in the wrong direction before its too late. The girl's behavior was a cry for help. We all learn from the actions of others...its nothing to be ashamed of to not be aware of deceit....trust, as mentioned, is always a good thing.

Mamcita, if your old pooter is mucking up I hope you are backing up all your info. When mine did that a couple of years ago I thought we had everything backed up and we then transferred it to the new computer but I have never been able to find all the Email addresses that I had.
