was just thinking of all the happenings this year and I think I know what has happened--
while one nephew was in Iraq as a soldier,
another nephew went out with a girl the first was seeing before he went away, and that has caused a major rift, now it seems that sis and the father of the other nephew have issues...

Probably a good thing my Dad isnt here,
as that would have upset him big time..
I know for sure if these two get into the same room there will be trouble, (the nephews I mean)

Dizzy Lizzy, so sorry to hear about the issues that developed! It's understandable, in a way . . . It gets tricky keeping family together after the parents are gone or even after missing just one Christmas together.

Yes JUlie we have talked about doing something at a different time of the year aswell,
I suggested we try the family Christmas in July
and try and make this the tradition
but, no, like your family there is one that insists it has to be Christmas

Afternoon all!

Hubby has left to go to his exam so I get to be here!!!! For a little while at least. I bought tickets today to Scrooge - a local theatre production. Ally's singing teacher is in it. It ends on Saturday so tonight is the only time we can go...

Julie I hope something works out with your family. I know that it would be hard for me to arrange anything between now and christmas. My mother has always insisted on christmas day for the family get together and it has kind of stuck.
