It is difficult to find a doc here too Suzy, and the one I found, I have to wait hours even when I have appointment! never gbeen out in less than 2-3 hours so far.

Well I have to leave too. Ebob has dragged herself out of bed and although her temp seems to be under control, it is still not normal and her other symptoms seem to be getting worse. I will call and try to get her in today....

We don't need a docs note for school absences unless they are More...

I think it is because so many children miss so much here, too many people thing they can keep a child out when they want too, and systems loosing money when attendance is not good. So everyone must be treated the same, as if they were irresponisble parents. It is a touchy subject here.

hope you get in suzy. let us know what the outcome is.
we don't need dr.s note here either. thank goodness. my washing machine was down for 2 days and i ran out of pants for my henry(6). i kept him home and he ran around in his underwear all day. that night i ran and bought him some cheapy jeans and the next day he was a school while i caught up with the laundry, doing 6 loads! ugh.

I'm back. Ebob has atypical pneumonia, also called walking pneumonia. Not the nasty kinds, thank goodness. Antibiotics and a day or two off school. That sounded kind of tough so I will go with how she is going. Waited forever in the waiting room! Afterwoods I left her reclining in the car More...

I don't know the name of the pneumonia I had four years ago, except that it was the kind my insurance company would pay for three days of hospitalization. They apparently needed the money, because after I declared myself well and ready to go home after the first night, they took my clothes. (My neighbor is the head nurse and did it as a joke on me. I was not amused.)

The kind I had was Pleurisy. Walking Pneumonia. I was on my own, at college, so I got no care or treatment until it was almost over. I never want to go through that again.
