Afternoon all! Just dropping in for my lunch break.

June, this will be Dana's second year. She played a little last year. Not as much as the experienced players, but she got to go out there. Half the time she looked like she had a rod along her body - no bending at all! We're hoping this year she will be more relaxed.

I forgot I hadn't told you about the girls' trip away. They travelled aaalll day to get there and then did it again on the way back. First an hour in the car, then a few hours on the train, then another few hours on a bus then again in a car. On Friday we left home at 8am and they didn't arrive More...

I'm in baseball heaven today! 3 play-off games on television. October is my favorite month!!!
475 bulbs in the ground...202 still waiting to be planted - and that just one delivery. I think I may have a couple hundred more coming! I went a little crazy.

Rolanda I asked Viv to cancel her plans so I could meet her and she refused! How rude!!

Meant to mention Mum's next small town project - to get the big tree some publicity. Apparently even some locals don't know it's there. Her argument is that it's bigger than some other big trees that are set up as tourist attractions, why not promote it!

Rolanda - I know it seems I can't count...just hadn't opened the shipped box and had forgotten just how many I ordered! Needless to say, I'm quite pooped. So glad I had dug out most of the areas I want to plant when the ground was still soft this past spring.
