I like school holidays. No getting up early, no rushing to make sure uniforms are washied, dried and ironed, no packing lunches....

Nice to know dentists are the same over your way Brenda.
Hubby went to dentist to get a filling done.
Paid $150 for it and then had to return the next week as it was not done properly.
Thankfully he did not have to pay again though !

Son about due home from work here.
I might do some more knitting tonight.
I went and bought another set of needles yesterday as I could not find the one I had lost.
It was a long one too, had 134 stitches on the one needle but could not find its mate.
You would not think it would be easy to lose but I have not found it yet.

My man is the opposite with pain - will put up with stuff he shouldn't without complaining, will get him in trouble one day soon.

I always end up losing them too Elise, try down the back of the chair/sofa (especially one you haven't been sitting on) that's where mine all end up.

We have had to pay twice as it was a different dentist and an emergency appointment too.

We have been lucky with dentists for a long time- touch wood. I had a root canal and cap about 16 years ago, noone has had even a filling since... and we do go to the dentist almost regularly

Wow this is really weird Brenda, I was digging around in the lounge looking for a lost chess piece only 30 minutes ago - and found a knitting needle !!!! na na na na

I have 2 sick boys here..
one has a cold.. blames me for it.
the other caught a tummy bug in Thailand.
Touch Wood the hubby hasnt caught anything yet !!!
