no didnt get blown away over the weekend..
The weather wasnt tooo bad in the end..
a tad cold, not so much wind, and rain (other than Friday Night it bucketed all night).
We managed to stay dry, and set up the Caravan inbetween the showers.

It has been hot and humid but not too bad. We've had several drenching rains and thunder storms.

overnight.. we got down to 0.7C overnight begin last week.. it can get colder, not much more so thankfully.

the movie is not going to win an award for best film, nor are the actors going to win for best acting or singing!! but it is fun.

Ruby - the only thing I've worked out about the Flipwords scoring is that your bonus is your highest score for the round multiplied by the number of turns remaining....

Texas 42 is played with dominoes, but is similar to some card games with tricks and trumps. There's also 'game'. It's kind of complicated to learn in one sitting and hubby congratulated our girls - said they had picked it up faster than anyone he has ever played with.

I have to admit though, we did yell out things like 'that's my trick, give me your game!!' Technically that kind of table talk is not allowed, but hey, we had fun!

Gails instructions on how to access Flipwords finally resulted in me succumbing!!! Sat up to ALL hours last night trying to get the hang of it.Gail popped in and gave me a few pointers before she went to bed and I now think this could become a BIG problem!!!
[Finally got up to level 7..it's not easy, is it!!!]

Now I will just pop off and see if I've forgotten all that I learnt last night
